Do I need a plan for passport help?

No. Passport guides and official government resources remain free. A subscription does not buy an appointment or passport processing.

How do email updates work?

Set destinations and a severity threshold in your account, then explicitly opt in. Email requires the delivery provider to be configured. You can switch updates off in your account or use the unsubscribe link in an email.
